Title: Tire wear.

What's the difference in degradation of the MT LSR tire at Bonneville (salt) vs Elmo (dirt)?.

Same horsepower for eg 1000HP.

Dumb question but I need to know for future reference.

From the dirt we ran on, it seems to be about the same. Dirt might be a little harder on the tire than the salt but a lot would depend on conditions of both.

Distance, El Mo 1.3 miles,,  Bonneville 5.0 Plus miles.

Thanks guys. Looks Like I'll need 2 sets minimum.

Like you Rob I think I found and alternative to Hakskeen Pan (dirt)
called Commissioner's Pan (Salt) but we need to drive out there and have a look.
The only photos I have are old and it may have been "mined". :evil:
