Just like the title says. I have one but need a second. Anyone have one they want to get rid of? Hopefully in SoCal.
Thanks!

Sounds like someone's building mufflers. :-D
I hope they work out for you Nathan. Its likely the cheapest way and you can always upgrade if you need more.

are these ERC fuel barrels?
-
The barrel I already have (or will be getting soon) is a VP fuel drum. I'm not picky. VP, ERC, lemon meringque... doesn't matter what was in it really. Just needs to be empty. :-D
-
Nathan,
I have an ERC drum it measures 28" high by 14" in diameter, will bring it to El Mirage if it will work for you.

Can you deliver that to the TnT or SpeedWeek :-D
Wayno, I guess that makes 15 gallons of ERC fuel a bargin... they arrive full.... or there is is a flaw in the measurements or the math :-o

Nate I may have a VP you can have a matched pair !
-
Perfect. I'll taken them both. Will we be seeing you at Elmo next weekend Sparky?

Nathan
Do take all precautions possible when working on or around them. The fuel may be gone but vapors WILL remain, bad things can happen fast, I've seen and heard the results.

Good lookin' out Ed. I've welded on gas tanks before. I do a full flush once with water, a full flush again with dish soap, and then another flush with water. Open flame test shows no flammability. After welding, I flush with methanol to absorb any residual water before filling with gas.
