In Don Vesco's quest to be the first motorcycle over 400 mph these engines were his top pick to be installed in his updated/remodeled "Lightning Bolt." So in 1981 he headed to the salt flats on private time in November. However winter had arrived and Don was only able to make a run or two. The power plant was great but the alloy wheels to replace rubber tires gave Don no traction so he scrapped the project. For more details go to our website: teamvesco.com.
