Send it to Dave at Marine Crankshaft...
Or send it to Dave at Denver's Mile High Crankshaft
Evidently Dave is a great name for a crankshaft guy

Okay, that's enough.  I've often wondered about some of the stuff that gets posted on this Forum -- and finally I'll ask.

Chris, have you nothing better to do with your life than to scout through the internet to find songs about the people named Dave?  I mean -- what the heck drove you to look for the Dave song?  Or worse -- is this a song that your band plays?

And for that matter -- how do you find Dave songs?  Enter "songs about Dave" in a search engine? :? :-o

You never heard this one before?

We'd sit down in the Gasthaus at UW Milwaukee after class - or sometimes skipping class - and watch "Kids in the Hall" every week.

Though may not be, sounds like a bike motor. Go ask your local Harley dealer where he gets his stuff balanced.

Chris,  I gotta agree BIG time on this one!   I remember seeing the Dave Song!    Kids in the Hall were a GREAT comedy troupe!

Revco Precision (562) 428-7481 in Long Beach did the Triumph crank.  The crank was sent with all of the reciprocating parts and the the rpm range where the most smoothness is wanted was specified.  They did good work for a reasonable cost and fairly quickly.

I'll end this hijack if it's okay with you -- by asking What The Heck is/was "Kids in the Hall"?  A television show?  I know that I've missed lots of shows, but at least I've read about many of 'em -- and KITH wasn't ever listed in The Economist magazine or Cycle World or the Mensa monthly journal. :-D

Well, strictly speaking, I do know about Google -- but don't use it.  There are other search engines out there and I like to (hope) that they aren't quite so nosy about every danged thing in my life.  I assume the others are, too -- I just liek the feeling of being the odd duck.

And as for searching for The Kids in the Hall -- again I say, I would never have thought of looking, and from the video -- I didn't find much reason to chase around to learn more.  I had to go watch the apples ripen.

Slim, you need to stay on topic.  If you do, you will get five gold stars like the rest of us.
