Ah, it's great to be a mere youngster in this crowd of well-salted (so to speak) folks.  Happy Birthday from a buddy that's MUCH younger than you, Sum.  Please ask Ruth to give you an extra ration of Cream of Wheat for your birthday dinner.

Don't make too much fun of Cream of Wheat.  I haven't had any of it - since this morning.  When I got up it was -12F outside here, and -18F at the airport.  Cream of Wheat sticks to your ribs - and you axxhole, too.  I know that's true because my dad told me so, way back when.

Uh, Jon, I think you're supposed to eat Cream of Wheat not rub it on.

Don, if Nancy's doing the rubbing she is welcome to rub anything she chooses onto me.  I suspect that the birthday boy will echo these sentiments, substituting Ruth for Nancy.

Any birthday w/o Ruth would not be the same for you.

Happy B'day Sum.

Thank You, Ruth.

Sparky --

"Sumner's 10th septennial celebration" --

I just did the math -- it makes him 700 years old!

Stan

P.S.  Perhaps during his missingness for the past few years he was building an ark.  I heard it was boat related.

SB

septennial is 7 years

Septuagenarian is some one who is 70 years old

This came from my Webster 9th new collegiate dictionary---yes it is old and is very tattered--- because ----on my own I can't spell Subaru with out hit in it--lol

You would think a guy as old as Stan would know that stuff...  :-o
Of course he probably had the benefit of a "valley" education so we should cut him some slack  :-D
