AND a KILLER live act! I saw 'em twice.
-
Thats the Reed Bros. Tank Keroy Neumeyer (sp) was the driver.Ardun powered.
-
Glen, thanks, it is really great to have a living history major in the group, even if you are a little cranky now and then.... ok just kidding about the cranky thing, just don't want you to get a big head :-D
-
Cuda been Leroy -- think he drove Scotty's Ardun tank -- I believe the first over 200.
-
Yep, was Leroy. Glen mighta fat fingered the keys there a little. :-D
Is Leroy still with us? Last time I saw him was at least 10yrs ago on the salt.
Sid.

Leroy passed away about 5 years ago from lung cancer. He was a good friend and a hard racer.
-
Thanks for that Glen, he was a good guy.
The reality of this thing called life is the fact we all get to make a last pass. The hope for everyone is that it's a clean pass.

Don Stringfellow introduced me to Leroy Neumayer sometime in the 90s.
They told me some great Bonneville stories and gave some needed guidance on my projects.
You meet the best people on the salt.

So you sucked me in, I ordered the C.D., got it, listened to it and gave it a thumbs down. Either they are a lot better live or you guys are drinking too much M.D. 20/20.
The cover, however, is worth the ten bucks I spent (Amazon.com) and is now resting on my "neat things" shelf. Bob
