My 13 yo grandson has just informed me that he (and his dad!) have just decided to take a quantum leap , from go-karts to Formulae vee. I have been racing tin tops for over 40 years and have never been able to justify the expense of proper race scales- have always used the 4x bathroom scales, with homemade levers. So suddenly, I now can justify the (reasonable) expense. A supplier in Brisbane has QUANTUM ONE SCALES (1500 lbs per pad) on sale at $1100.00AU. Have any of you salties had any experience (good or bad) with this product?
