That's a solid and inexpensive head start for somebody.
-
You might want to give a little more details & pics. The fact it has doors, it is probably a steel body.
Is this Jay Storer's old coupe?
Sid.

Where's House??? One of my fav old cars from the 90's.
-
Yep, That`s our old car alright. The last time the current owner was approached to sell he said no. Looks like he changed his mind. I am not happy. I have about as much chance of finding 10g`s as ....well, you get the idea... :x :x
-
House , ya would make the 10 g just standing on a street corner,,,,HeHeHe,,, Neat looking car,
-
Figured as much.
So House, there's always a way Mate! Don't say you can't afford to, you can't afford not to.

Sid....thanks for the phone call today....still can`t raise the money, although I did buy a new miniskirt...  :-o :-D
-
Yeah Mate, the home improvement stores here are great aren't they?
Sid.

We talked about that car here a couple years back. Was one of my favorites! Still is.
-
Does anyone know if the body is pre 1948 for Vintage class?
-
The Fiat Topolino went into production in 1937.
Be aware this car has not run since the early 90's to my knowledge.

Page 54.....5B......American body....my son Patrick had the rights to the number 442 and gave it to Jay....With all that has happened in the last few years with coupe safety cages I'm sure a lot would need to be done.
PS: 10K is a great deal if I could put in a fuel 12port GMC. Couldn't builditfor that.......JD

It is a Simca, same thing tho................
-
I'm getting real close to that number and my car only slightly resembles a car in the fact that it has for wheels, and four tires!
Jimmy, That thing would be awesome with a big ole 12 port in it!
-
The cage is 1-3/4 tubing, so that detail is easy.
It would probably require some additions, not the end of the world.
My hesitation is the legality of the body (dimensional). I can do the mechanical work, I just don't know how to use the low range on the welder.

Rumor has it that someone from Montana is on their way to Texas to buy the car.
I wonder if this could be a new car for the Montana Dodge Boys Fast Four Special?
Time will tell.

We did not buy it, but a local acquaintance did call the other day and ask if we would build a Dodge banger motor for it if he bought it. Maybe he pulled the trigger :? We're building a coupe of our own for next year... '28 Dodge, of course. Pedro

Is this car still for sale? The Pepperoni Bros. Are looking for something with 4 wheels and this fits the bill. I was helping whoever was running this car in '92 put a starter in it when that big storm came up.........
