Title: Message From Donna Timney
Post by: Joe Timney on July 21, 2013, 12:10:58 PM

Good Morning all, and a good morning it is. I am here typing and smiling, and loving my husband for all of the great care and kindness and selflessness he exhibited these last two weeks. I am healing well and quickly. The surgery has proven successful at this point, and the prognosis is for full recovery and use of my hands/wrists. I'm a lucky, lucky girl...for so many reasons.

First of all, I can not express with any words present in my vocabulary, how much you all mean to me. The outpouring of love and support from this LSR family has been absolutely overwhelming. You all have brought me to tears over and over again (just ask Joe, poor guy for having to deal with my emotions these last two weeks) for the never ending cards, gifts, texts, FB messages and hundreds of calls to Joe, "just checking up". We are a unique group, and I love and appreciate each and every one of you so very much. Thank you for keeping me going.

And...whoever said that Chocolate is a healer, was correct, because...well....I'm doing great due to gifts of Chocolate, brownies, cupcakes, choco covered strawberries...Oh, my gosh.....I swear I was able to ditch the painkillers because of chocolate!

It's been a tough few weeks for us all, but, because of our connection and dedication to one another, we survived.

I Love You all so much. Thank you.

Joe told me that he figured this would be the time to confess that he

lusts to do the dishes and the vacuum cleaning.

He will soon be coming out of the cleaning closet.

I just wanted to be the one that let you in on his surprise.

That should make recovery more enjoyable and since you now know it

he will probably continue to do those chores from now on.

Don't heal TOO fast. It would deprive him of his sense of usefulness.

I hope to meet you someday.

Great news Donna. Joe will get over not having to do all of the domestics all of the time. Amy and I have been thinking about both of you. See y'all in sept.

Freud, you really do need to meet them both.

Thunder, I totally agree.

It's too bad the coasts are so far apart.

I wouldn't tease them if I thought it would hurt.
