It is with a very sad heart that I share the passing of my dear friend and racing partner in the McBride and Moreau Racing streamliner. Don McBride lived in the fast lane from a very young age with 100mph go carts, mini sprints and of course held 2 of the 4 land speed records in the 286 "little Green Streamliner" and was a very proud member of the 200 mph club. His most favorate apparel was his 200 mph letterman coat and the white with black checker 2 club hat. He wore it everywhere and will be spending eternity wearing it.
He passed away of cancer on June 10th, the day before his 73rd birthday. He joked on Sunday that he didn't want to make it to 73 because that was for old people...that was Don, always having something funny to say...I will miss my friend.

Sad news. May he rest in peace -- and may those of us that knew him remember him with honor and love.

I always looked forward to talking you and Don on the salt. I will always remember the nice gift you guys sent to me after I helped put the fire out in your car. It is a great loss.
Best wishes to you and the family.
