Anyone got a simple explanation of the difference between a SB2 and a SB2.2 ?

Intake valve angle sl different at 11x4 on 2.2 instead of 12x4. There are some other subtle differences which I have read about but don't remember. I think the valve train parts also are different. I have read that the SB2 is NOT preferred and this older technology is AVOIDED. If you have a swell deal on SB2 heads, pass on them is the impression I have found reading about them.
