I know there was a ~bit~ of rain in Wendover today.
How's the view from the "boat ramp"?

Thanks for the report Lynda.
I hope the wet is good and not destructive for the work done over the last week to extend the effective lengths of the courses.

The USFRA site has an update. They report it rained the last two days and they have folks out there checking daily. Sure hope the salt recovers, the next weeks weather looks good for that posibility.

Drove out this morning. Lot of water but very shallow, maybe 3/4" to 1" once you move away from the end of the road. if you approach the starting line area you begin to see dry spots. Also salt appears to be very hard could see no visible tire tracks where I drove. And yes I was careful to stay clear of the courses. Setup and tech may be a little difficult, but I thing we will have a great course buy race time.

We had some rain and thunder showers here (San Francisco/Sacramento) today, which is a bit unusual. Our weather heads east and if it doesn't dry out over Nevada...
Fingers crossed.
