Will the event be extended due to the wet Salt?

Good weather is forecasted rest of the week. May take a full day to dry enough to run on.

Just remember the clean up after the event, lots of clean water washing under the vehicles including the trailers etc.

Folks went off an a tour of the Jukebox Cave, etc., in a caravan.  It's quiet out here at Land's End.  I'd start the computer for a webcast, but will save the broadband for race days.  Nice & sunny, 80 degrees, but no wind to whip over the salt to speed the process.

Sam, hope that bike is ready for WoS.

Glen, you've been through these race delays so many times, you're calling the exact situation from the other end of the state.

Got a rookie on his way that I've been mentoring and I don't want his first event to rain out.

Me? I'm building a new intercooler box today. Bike is tuned. Crossing off days and listening to Moxnix (et. al) LIVE from the Salt.

Still a lot of standing water on the way in.  I don't like the slow drain and no wind, but I'll check tonight.

Hardest 20 minutes of water from the sky that I've seen in years. I'm hopeful the pitbike's wheels aren't welded to the salt when'll we get back out there tomorrow.  :)
