Title: Upholstery on door panels in GT class.
Post by: robfrey on August 01, 2012, 08:48:41 AM
Right now we have aluminum inner door panels on our 3838 A/BGT vette. Is aluminum "equivalent"? We can add some Naugahyde to the panels but it could be considered a fire hazard.

Rob, read through 5.E PRODUCTION CATEGORY.  You'll find your answer.

Got it.
After 4 years of messing with this LSR stuff, I'm still trying to figure out how to read the rulebook. Things are listed in multiple places that may or may not pertain to the car you want to run and the class you want to run it in. I'm just starting to get a grasp on the concept of separations by category and not class.
Anyhow, thank you. i was just reading in the GT class rules and it said equivalent. Thanks for putting up with me!!!!!
