Title: SFI 3.2/15 RJS Suit
Post by: Milwaukee Midget on July 30, 2012, 11:16:36 PM
Okay, who needs a SFI 3-2A/15 fire suit?

It might have been owned by a mime, but I can't verify that.

Probably best described as a medium/tall - it was custom sized, and part of a package deal.  It’s an RJS suit, certified 2004, in decent used shape.  Grey and white, slightly faded, with a coffee stain just below the right side of the collar.  Zippers are in excellent shape, and the cuffs and velcro are decent.  No tears.  Hardly a fashion statement, but if you're rolling fast enough, nobody will notice the coffee stain.

I had hopes of getting into it myself, but found I couldn’t get my size 15 feet down the pant legs.

Let me be totally forthright about this – I bought this used off of e-bay along with an XL suit in a package deal.  The XL that I’m keeping is not quite as nice, but it fits better.

The suit pictured here is the nicer of the two.

Here’s what I’d like to do.  I don’t think $200.00 is an unreasonable price for this suit.  I'm not familiar with the recertification process, or if it would even be necessary for LSR, but I see nothing wrong with this suit that would raise a red flag on a recertification.  If I can get that price for it, I’ll cut Jon a check for half of that.  Tell me how you want it shipped, and I'll do it - shipping cost would be your responsibility.

But if you stop by to pick it up, I'll buy you a beer.

Will it fit you?  Okay, like I said, it was custom sized, so if you click on the link below, you’ll find the way RJS measures for a suit . . .

http://rjsracing.com/Measurement-Charts

Below are the dimensions for the OUTSIDE of the suit, using RJS’s chart as a guide.  Again, these are OUTSIDE dimensions, NOT the measurements RJS asks for when ordering a custom suit, so you'll need to make some allowances.

A - Shoulder to shoulder      18”
B1- Sleeve         24” to the end of the cuff
B2 - Bicep         16”
C – Chest         44”
D – Stomach         40”
E – Waist                       36”
F – Hip            38”
G – Thigh                       22”
H – Calf            16”
I – Inseam         27 ½”
J – Outseam         43 ½’
K – Armpit to pant length                 55 1/2'”
L – Hollow of neck to middle of belt   19”
M – Crotch         32”
N – Back                       23”
O – Hollow of neck around crotch to back of neck   73 ½”
Neck – adjustable – nominally 17”

Laundered and ready to wear.

Drop me a PM if it will work for you.

This suit is for sale again, fit was just a tad off......read skinny. I will sell it here for what I have in it. $200 plus shipping. To give you an idea of fit. I am 5'9"-5'10 and 175. My cycling calves and quads will not fit in the legs like Chris' flippers/feet. The legs are skinny. Somone thin and 5'6"-5'11 would fit this suit best. It is in great shape, Chris descibed it well. I will throw $40 back at Slim if it sells here. RJS will re-cert the suit for $75 and they told me 1 day turn around. PM me with any questions. Trent
