While checking my email this morning I found this note from JoAnn from the SCTA-BNI office:
"Dan – can you please mention that the “tubes” are out in the mail this week. (by bulk mail) - Poster, pit pass, patch & decal - plus the July StraightAway newsletter."
The arrival of your "tube" highlights the fact that SpeedWeek draws near - pick up the pace!

Oh Subaru, I think I liked it! :-o
-
The tubes arrived here in Skandia, Michigan today - the 7th of July. Thanks for the advance warning, Dan, and thanks for getting them out with ours near the top of the pile, JoAnn. I haven't opened them yet (Nancy and I have separate memberships) so I don't know whom should get the hurrahs for being on the poster. But - the tubes have arrived. Yee-hah! We leave for the salt in four weeks from today.
-
Got tubed over the weekend while at the Ohio Mile, they've made it to Columbus!

Call me a slacker, just got off the phone with JoAnn and mine is on the way!

Got mine last saturday. No rulebook, supposed to pick it up at the trailer. Glad I borrowed someone elses to read. That and only having a time only car.
-
Got mine yesterday in Houston....Thanks SCTA, great looking poster.
-
None in Utah yet.
-
Like Glen said, none in Utah. I'll be patient. Look, I sent my entry on the last day and if they do it alphabetically I'm still screwed. (Yeats) I'll wait until Christmas eve to bother JoAnn. Wayno

Mine made it to San Mateo yesterday.
-
None in Montana yet, probably the smoke from the fires, they can't get through.
Doug
-
Made it to Colorado yesterday, my sticker was all wrinkled but oh well. I love to see the tube in the mail box so my restless nights can begin
-
I got my tube today and it was flat and torn in the middle. The poster was wrinkled and the decal was screwed up. The USPS is a poor excuse of having the pride of the past. It no good to bitch with them. they don't care and they are going broke like the rest of the government run enterprises. I use FedEx and UPS to ship anything.

They beat the grass hoppers away from the box and put the tube in today. All is well in Montana. On the road in 3 weeks.

Got mine a few days ago. Sitting on go. Told somebody this week that 25 years ago I would be working day and nigh to finish the Stude. Older and slower now, have to get it they next year. It's all fun
-
I'm still tubeless here in Central Utah. Is anyone else still waiting? Wayno
-
ya I don't have mine yet
-
Nothing in Kansas yet.... Hopefully before I leave for Speedweek. Used to leave 8-10 days early headed to Denver to get the Bockscar ready to go, didn't get my tube before I left many times. I still have 12 days before I head out this year.

Mine is not here but I ordered way late.
-
OK, mine arrived in the mail yesterday, I knew a post that it wasn't here yet would spark the PO to deliver it.
RFD is alive and well in middle America
hang in there Wayno, it will arrive
-
I have no doubts. Wayno

One downside for living in the country...................got the orange tag that said it was at the post office "too long for box". Should have it in my hands tonight.

Trent, it's too bad that your mail deliverer isn't as friendly as Marty and Gary, the guys that bring ours. Both of them (and UPS and FedEx, for that matter) know to walk into the garage and leave stuff near the back walk door. They get Bonneville t-shirts each year - so maybe there's a good reason we get service like that. :-D

our group of houses has the mail at the turnoff for the county road. A mile from the house and the drive is 200 feet long. UPS and Fedex are cool. If we got our stuff togethere we can petition the postal service for boxes at the end of our driveways. Our group of 24 houses is pretty dysfunctional tho. Kinda like a soap opera. Poster is in flattening mode, sticker is on the cooler and my pin is in the glovebox already!
