I was wondering if the records from Maxton will stand as current records or will they be retired after the Ohio Mile and new records started?
I searched but couldn't find any talk on the subject.
See you at the Ohio Mile,

Ohio will start with a clean slate.

I think it was disscused in the Sept. or Oct. Maxton drivers meeting and voted on to let the Maxton records be retired.

So, every 1st pass per class is a record and gets tech check? Sounds like the hard-working officials will be more-so.
-
you are corect!

Thanks Folks,
That clears up some stuff for me. We will not be running on anyone's record.

Only the fastest speed of the event get the record in the book. So if there is anyone else in your class you will be in direct compitition for the records
-
To not suffer that inconvenience, you could just change classes.

Stan the ECTA event this month is "Full"... it would be awesome if you and some of your race friends from the West could bring your roadsters (other cars too) out and race with us in Ohio in June (1st,2nd 3rd) ..
Let's see how fast you can go from ZERO to the Mile (with TRACTION) not on dirt or salt...you know you wanna try it !!!!

Yea Stan, do it do it. :-D

Although all that lead may slow your acceleration a little.... we noticed that when we took the bike to Texas....
Oh and lack of anything but 30MPH brakes might cause you to run a little long...

Hooley,
Happy to see that you are making the trip, is Sum coming with you? I missed him at Speed Week.

B,
No, Sum won't be there[he will be missed, too] He and wife headed for Fla. for sailing. They worked all winter to be ready for the a couple of months stay.
