Title: New belly tanks
Post by: kiwi belly tank on July 31, 2011, 01:54:40 AM
I have three bran spankin "new" tanks for sale. They are F4 Fantom tanks that have never been assembled. Nose, tail & center section, all still separate & virgins. Nose & tail pack into the center section that is 9ft long. Will fit in a P/U bed with tail gate down & I can deliver at SW.
  $600 ea.
These are a 25" dia tank, so if you don't want to build a bus, this could be the tank for you. A small block without crazy crap hanging off it will fit inside.
I have a turbo'd 401 with a wet sump & a blow-through Holley completely inside my 27" dia street legal tank.
PM to contact.

If I could work out how to get them to Australia
But the government here frowns on the importation of former military hardware

No worries mate, just ship the nose & tail. The center is just a straight section. Call them race car parts.

Would you consider shipping them???

There would be a bunch of work to build a crate long enough  to ship one but I would do it for the cost of materials & deliver it to a local shipping company. You would have to do all the leg work to set it up. I don't think I could bend over backwards any further than that without falling on my a$$.
A nose & tail only, packs down to about 6ft ish, if you wanted to go that way, that'd cut the shipping cost big time. Most people dont use the center section intact, but use parts of it & roll up more pieces to complete the body panels anyway. Another option would be if I cut the center section in half with the plasma cutter, it could be shortened down to 6ft ish again.

Pic from last year, I hauled them down with my liner. One sold then. Only reason I'm letting these go, is my liner has gone on a greenback diet.
Sorry about that, took the dummy two shots to knock it down.

These are the same. Looks like these tanks were for sale in Tennessee.
