Title: ECTA Racers Lawson Bilhardt and Terry Russell
Post by: Cajun Kid on July 19, 2011, 12:54:08 PM
I want to let all of our fellow racers know that 2 of our own Members of the ECTA just got into the 2 Club at Loring,,, I know this is our ECTA board here,,, but you all know these 2 guys and they have worked there tails off for a few years and they just did it,,, they each made a personal best at 210.xxx mph,,, great for them,,,

Now let's see if that Super Charged Black T Bird can do 200 in Sept or Oct at our track...

Lawson and Terry, it was a pleasure celebrating with you guys over dinner Sunday night,,, see you at Maxton
and once again,,, Congratulations !!!

Charles

It goes to show - that folks that help, work without pay, are tireless in their support of the racing -- will eventually get their thanks.  And they get our congratulations, best wishes, and big smiles for when we see them next time.

Good going, gentlemen!!  Nancy and I send our best wishes!!

Hello Charlie V,
Thank you for all of your attention to our Geezer questions and challenges last weekend! You really helped us out in a big way! Great job working with the LTA crew helping them smooth the staging area. Great job getting down that great big, honking course as well!

We're done for 2011 - we hope to see you in Ohio if a race series breaks out.

Our very best to you,

Geo Turner, for Brian Acton and the entire Geezer Race Team

Congrats to both of you.  Let's also not forget Thomas Cronan who made it into the 200 club there this past weekend.

Good for Thomas!  I didn't know he was riding - but it's no surprise that he was fast!  Which bike?

To make it short, I blew the head gasket by short shifting into 5th gear ( massive load for a small engine at to low of an rpm for the hp it was trying to make) due to not having the proper valve train parts in the car. I was trying to just get down the track and make a pass.
