Title: roof flaps

not sure if this would be concidered a technical question but here goes, where do i get roof flaps or do i have to make my own? the nascar guys gotta have someone who makes them as a unit that drops in i would think? no?

Roush Racing makes them as do some others, also look on Ebay.  Tony

Roof flaps are not a horrible idea for may cars. It would be easy to make them as well.

boy these things are EXPENSIVE brand new, good deal used, or surplus.

You get a cheap set from Almendinger's #43 when they roll it back on the wheels.

Try the truck flaps...they are cheaper and more available on the used market.

I will only add that when Hooley's Studie did a little spin on the salt, the flap had deployed.  I do not remember the year, I am sure John does.

The cable on the flap was out,  which indicated the flap had opened

They are not as simple as it looks. $50 gets you a good used set. PM me for pics.
