Title: The Worlds Slowest Indian
Post by: AHG on July 26, 2010, 09:55:52 AM
I just thought this might bring a chuckle to some of the motorcycle folks.
An old friend of mine attended the 2010 Indian Days in Springfield Massachusetts,
and this is one of the pictures he forwarded to me.

The little 49cc motorcycle was actually sold under the Indian name in the 60s or 70s.
I believe it might have been sold by an Italian firm, possibly Moto Morini.

In any case, it is a bit funny.  :-D

Have a great week

I don't recall who actually built the little bike.... Harley had a virtually identical one called a "Shortster"
