We got lucky... the old velocity header bolted up, everything fit, maybe as well as the last. The car is reassembled and ready to put on the trailer tomorrow... Ross (mc2032) has been over helping get it put back together. We lowered the back suspension about a 1/2 inch, so I threw it back on the scales to make sure the suspension is still balanced.... it is fine....
The tools and the racing containers are a mess.... it has been a hectic week getting the car back together.... we will sort everything out tomorrow, put the car on the trailer and the boxes in the truck and be on the road Monday morning.
Jerry, the short answer is the turbo hangs on the header... I have been trying to come up with a plan to hang it or brace it with something besides the exhaust header... If this motor survives WoS and maybe WF, I will be swapping the header for the new RCC, fabbing new pipes, changing to a more efficient turbo and hopefully figure out a way to hang the new turbo.
The good news is we seem to have a good tune on E85... it's always a good tune until it isn't... I'm mixing another 10 gallons up tomorrow so we will have about 20 gallons with us... enough for a dozen passes...
