Title: Need quick-change advise for B/Gas Roadster

Building a new B/Gas Roadster and looking for recommendations on new quick-change rear ends.

It looks like they have a new one since I last looked with a 3.08 ring/pinion for B'ville, that's good :D :

An alternative to using a quick change rear is to use a G-force reverse output 5 speed driving through a Casale V-drive . Casale gears can be changed like a quick change . A Doug Nash , Richmond or G-force 5 speed could be converted to a reverse output with parts from G-force .

What kind of vehicle are planning to run, Gale Banks blew the back half off his in the pickup a couple of years ago. Not sure what MFG it was.

Banks used a Winters QC. Claimed 1100 fpt.

i live just west of fort worth tx. i talked to winters after i posted on here and he seems to think the heavy duty model made with the 206 alloy will hold up. i think it will be fine for high speed stuff but i also want to drag race it. and he said i could go with 35spline axles. but with a truck weight of 4500 or more i am starting to think it just won't hold up. 20 to 40 psi launches on a set of slicks really has me worried.

Is an aftermarket Ford 9 inch out of the question?  At least for the drag strip runs?

With a 2.47 gear you can go pretty fast.
