Regarding, the NSU motor, we ran one in a roadracing sidecar back in the 1960's........good power.....had two Weber carbs......but the engine was really too tall for a kneeler sidecar..............
We still have the engine in Europe (Holland)
......it looked so nice we made a standing lamp for the office out of it..............................................
A real conversation piece.......................................

I owned one in 1978, dont remember what year the bike was, to me it was very forgettable. The key word was mammoth. It was big, heavy and had a very mushy suspension. I think I rode it three times and parked it until I could sell it. I think I did make a few bucks when I sold it, so the experience wasn't a total loss. :-D
