Looking for a turbo header for my old 2.0L SOHC Pinto engine. A high up sweep would be preferable but interested in anything available. Also, any new or slightly used (in perfect condition) roller finger rockers for the same engine. While I am hallucinating, a steel turbo cam would also be nice to go with those roller rockers.

I think Ak Miller and Weiand made manifolds for these engines. Gotta be a few of them collecting dust somewhere.

Thanks, Sid. It appears everything is for the 2.3 SOHC engine and I have the 2.0. Even though they look identical, absolutely nothing interchanges. Still on the hunt.

According to Mr Google the 2.3 head has differences but it will still bolt onto the 2.0 block.

John, you might find what you are looking for by posting a wanted ad on the link I am providing.

Sid, who would have thought they would change motor manufacturers in the early years of these motors. I will say I knew very little about these motors but this link is a wealth of information on them. IMO

I built a few of these engines back in the day for some oval track guys & I seem to remember the 2.0 was the European engine & the 2.3 was US version & had to be imported down under.

I can?t confirm this but maybe those more knowledgeable can verify that an early 2.3 SOHC cylinder head fits an early 2.0 block. The 2.3 was factory turbocharged and plenty of turbo parts a knowledge exists for them.

In the link I posted I found this quote very valuable for someone building one of these motors.

Tom G.

" Initially the 2.3 was supposed to be designed so that the 2.0 EAO parts would interchange, but due to different manufacturing processes it was not feasable) according to Ford, a couple of easy ways to tell if you have a 2.0L EAO engine, or a 2.0/2.3/2/5L lima engine is that the 2.0 EAO engine has 10 valve cover bolts while the Lima engine has only 8 valve cover bolts, and the distributor is in front of the number 1 intake port on the EAO engine, while the distributor is under the number 1 intake port on the Lima engine."
