Hi, have you ever read the 2 sept 2008 50cc turbocharged 2 stroke  Buddenbaum record (144, 921 mph-233km/h) on Bonneville web site? I don't understand why is categorized AF (aspirated fuel) if the record was obtained with the turbo 50cc Am6 set up?
If we look the image of the record we can see S 50cc BF (blown fuel).

I'VE attached the images.

The A class is for Special Construction, not (aspirated fuel). A rule book can be helpful
John Gowetski, red hat @ 221.183 MPH MSA Lakester, Bockscar #1000 60 ci normally aspirated w/N20

Lots of entrants run more than one class. All that's required is the appropriate engine swap or fuel change. Those guys were really good at what they were doing.

I don't see the record you're referring to in the SCTA Rule Book.

It show Buddfab 50cc Streamliner S-F record 10/07 at 131.545.

The Blown Fuel 50cc Streamliner record id listed as H. Muller, NSU, 8/56 at 121.700.

Pete
without doubt they make a good work!

So my question is if the 144.922 mph record was made with turbo set up. If you search online you find everywere the images of the Am6 turbo associated to the 144.921 speed. So I think if the record was obtain in this config on the Bonneville speed tab results we should see S (streamliner) BF (blown fuel) and not only AF.  :deal

Excuse for my questions but I ve never understand in what config the result was established.

Can anyone give me a clarification???  cromag cromag

Turbino, you have posted this question under the SCTA Rules Question section, when it should have been asked in the BMST section,, there are folks on here that only refer to SCTA and not BMST,,
After doing a little resurch I tend to agree with you,, if you check out the AMA records (which normally go hand in hand with BMST) you will notice that all the BudFab records from 2006 thru 2009 across 50cc, 100cc and 125cc are all listed as naturally aspirated
First Australian to ride a motorcycle over 200mph at Bonneville,,,

Here you can see what I say.

But the question is: was the record done in turbo mode?
Is anyone that was here in this moment can remember ? 2 sept 2008

John and Eric never ran a blower or turbocharger. Nitrous oxide got them there. They were playing around with a small roots type blower but never used it.

Look at the pictures online you can see S 50cc BF and in every website is said they established record on turbo mode.

Here an example
