LSR related spreadsheets....
« on: September 22, 2006, 06:26:11 PM »
Over the last couple years I've created a couple spreadsheets that help me/us with figuring out gear ratios, hp we might need and so on.

I've posted a couple on my site and will post more if these seem to work and if anyone is interested in them.

I've never posted spreadsheet files before and Jon told me how at BUB (thanks Jon), so I'm not sure if these are working or not.  They seem to for me.  The other thing is I use an old version of MS Works and don't have Excel.  I've saved them in both formats for you to download.

Would someone please try and download both versions and let me know if they seem to be working (especially in Excel).

You can find the link to them (  HERE  ).

Or go straight to them (  HERE  ).

c ya,

Sum

So did you get it to download and use it with Excel???

I can get Excel files and my MS Works is suppose to open them, but 90% of the time it doesn't.

Since it seems to be working I'll down load the 5 speed, 5 speed with 5th as an overdrive and the 6 speed for people like me with bike motors or 6 speed car transmissions.  I'll probably do it on Monday.

I also saw that the titles above the mph's and rpm's were scrolling up and just upload a fix for that, so if any of you have download these files you might want to do so again so you get the update. (update: Llooks like for some reason I can't freeze the titles when I save in the Excel format--sorry)
