Here's my last post of the day. Gotta get up early and park by the #2 course start line so I can give you as much Pork Pie information as I can. He needs a 200.6, I think he said, to not only get his "A" license - but also a red hat. Is he stoked? You betchurass he is!
Since Ray left early I took a few photos today, just for some "color".
Here's how BeerBelly Kelly dries his leathers:

Didja ever wonder what Max does while the internet audio setup is working just fine?
Here's Nancy and her bike. Last night we went to the 200 MPH Club banquet and noticed a familiar bike in the back of a pickup. Scot Horner, of HeadsUp Performance in Sandy (south suburban SLC, sorta) was taking it back to his shop for new bodywork before WoS. I'll ride it then -- Nancy won't be ready, she figures. Anyway, I took this photo of her and the bike. You can see the damage -- right arm in a sling and broken bodywork on the right lower of the front of the bike. You can also notice the sorta upset look on Nancy's face as she relives the crash as she sees the broken bike:
And finally - Ian Mann, the Poteet & Main IT guy and MoTeC guru, sent this to me. Since most of us will never see a timing slip like this (at least in our personal collection) - well, enjoy it for George Poteet and his entire team's sake:
Good night, ladies and gentlemen. I'll be back with you in a handful of hours. Return runs start at about 7.15 MDT, and the qualifying runs when record runs are done -- likely about 8AM. Qualifying runs 'til noon, and then there'll be return runs until they're done -- most likely by 1PM. And then -- SpeedWeek 2012 will be history.
