This is from Feb 4th.
Good morning friends ❤️❤️
This is Rose Freeman, Glenn’s granddaughter. Thank you all so much again for your thoughts, prayers, and notes. I wanted to give you an update on my grandpa as he is such a dear person to so many people. I wish I had time to call every one of you personally, but a post will have to do.
A few days ago, we saw some great progress and healing in his brain. He picked up a spoon on Friday and fed himself. He picked up a cup of water, too! This was sweet to see him start to do things on his own. Along with the good days, he has bad days. He goes from alert and awake at meals, to a deep sleep where nobody can wake him up. This is part of the healing process, but yesterday morning something just wasn’t right.
We had another urine sample done and found he has another UTI (he had one a couple weeks ago) and pneumonia as of yesterday. He’s not doing well right now. If you’re the kind of praying person, or even if you’re not, please pray for Glenn. Pray for healing through these antibiotics, pray for comfort for him right now. Please pray for my grandma Doris to know she is not alone. Personally, I’m praying that my grandpa knows how loved he is by all of us and most importantly, by God.
If you’d like to come by to see him, please feel free to contact me preferably by a text (call is ok, I’ll just get back to you faster by text) at 425 248 9288. Also, you can leave a message for him in the comments below or tag him in a post and I’ll read it to him.
To my grandpa’s dear friends at Bonneville, you are family. Please know I’d love to hear from you.
Much love ❤️❤️
