Repop Frame

Not sure if this has been addressed before, but, if I'm running a reproduction of a production frame, would it still qualify for the production frame class or does it need to have numbers from the factory? I'm guessing yes, but just wanted to check.

Be prepared to show it is 100% identical to the original, no extra gussets... basically impossible to tell from the original.... and do that in advance of the race for approval from the bike guys listed in the rule book.
Good Luck

Yes - wall thickness, alloy, length of inserted dowels at intersections. Take photos before sandblasting etc.
Equal or lesser weight than a known OEM probably helps.
