Thanks Jon  and all of you who stepped up to help out run this site.  We salt junkies need to keep in touch some how and pass on some of our expierences while we still remember them.  I now have something to do again at 3 in the morning other than switch between Imus in the Morning and Fox News.
Thanks again Guys.    Remember this is Easter this Sunday Go to Church if you can.  God Bless

I agree with all of the above comments! I was checking the site a couple of times a day hoping to see it up and running.

Thanks Jon!

 It goes without saying that Jon deserves a great big hug! Actually it should be said more often. For every active (regular poster) on the site there must be many more who enjoy the site. During Speedweek the regular updates are invaluable to keep the home bodies posted. It would be nice to add some help to Jon's work othe salt. I for one would be happy to do some photo work and maybe write a line or two for the updates. The downtime was crazy, some people talked about actually getting a phone call from Freud....or even worse....a visit! (Just kidding Freud).

That "or even worse" comment, brings a point to the problem. Although you are never going to get rid of the freaks that challenge other people for the thrill of stirring the pot, one thing we all can do is pay attention to the "tone" of our posts. Even though "or even worse" came out of my brain in a positive, humerous and friendly form....sometimes comments with the typed word are read entirely different from the intent.

Again....thanks Jon for what you do....even if you are a motorcycle guy.... (see....there it goes again!)  :-D

Now might be a good time to mention that anyone can contribute funds anytime to help Jon keep the site running.  There's a button at the bottom of the home page.   8-)

Hey "Slim",

Are you going to be the moderator of punctuation and spelling?

Just kidding. I have always enjoyed your input.

My wife was a school teacher and I am surprised that she does not insist on proof reading my posts.
