2022 Rule Book
« on: December 17, 2021, 06:21:21 AM »
When should the 2022 Rule and Record book be available?
It's not over, it's just harder.

You can order one from the SCTA or USFRA website... but you won't get one until they are printed.  Both organizations probably still have copies of last years book, and you may be able to call them, buy one and get it mailed quickly.  The rules don't generally change a lot...

. . . and if you get a 2021 Rule Book and then a later 2022 Rule Book, the changes are in bold face so you don't have to match them up word for word to try to find them.

Just join the BNI, you get a rulebook, poster, stickers, patches, program and a bunch of other stuff for $100.

Plus you have to join anyway if you plan on racing at Bonneville.

Join BNI?  I may be Blind, I can't find the link to join. And their store has been temporally closed for, , ,  well a long time.  Id like a current rule book, but how can I acquire even the 2021 version.

The rule books have been done for some time but the printer, like so many other industries out there, are having supply issues.

Jeff (trimmers) answered that in another thread.... he has his... ordered from the USFRA... so books are shipping.  I suspect the SCTA will be distributing to members through the clubs and BNI members will get theirs in the mail as they get them packaged and mailed.  If you are new at this, new rule books have come out anywhere from April to July.  They rarely change much... but changes usually appear on this site.

But always remember rule changes other than safety are designed to give someone an advantage or put someone else at a disadvantage...
