Already loaded, one bearing to fix on the trailer. Running Perris Saturday night, one more after this one, still 4th in points.

Last I know we ran 2 ways was 2002. Partick got into the 2 Club on the return run only going thru the first mile and coasted into impounds. (one happy day)....

PS: Oldest grandson may drive. Borrowed a firesuit to fit him. He reports to Marine Boot Camp October 28th in San Diego.......See you all at WF

Finished my last chore on the Truck today. Started loading all the required support equipment, went to NAPA for Trailer Brake lamps, got the Pit Shade out, Paula has been collecting stuff for the 1800 Mile Trek, getting out the suitcases. All I can say is it better not,, ummm,,, precipitate... leaving at the Crack of Shirley on Saturday.

Hows the truck been Mike?

I can't make it or I would be helping Nick out. I just can't afford to be off of work rite now.
Tell Nick I wish him the best of luck and I hoping to hear of a 220 + mph.

Finally got the clutch worked out.The short story is the Auto Tranny flexplate for the Truck is a 1/2 inch smaller than the Manual Tranny Flywheel, Quartermaster suggested using the Auto flexplate as a starter ring so much for that idea. Remove engine & tranny, machine down the Fidanza flywheel to fit everything inside the bellhousing, 2 trips to the machinist. Clutch is so stiff the firewall flexes when the clutch is pushed in (fulcrum point). Remove the dash, and re-enforce the firewall. re-install the dash...Start doing leg presses to build up my left leg...

Here's a weather "Heads up".
Everybody from warmer climates that hasn't been here in October; remember this is high desert, and gets quite cool at night.
The forecast for the first 3 days of next is saying possible snow in our local mountains, low 40's in the early AM.
We've seen wet snow at 38*.
This means pack  a sweater. hoody, gloves, warm socks, even a golf type windbreaker or shell parka.
Bring the ladies a small rug or milk carton to keep their feet off the ground; they are always cold.

It says 30% chance of precip, so we'll just play the cards we're dealt.
Nobody should cancel, delay, or change plans on account of this.
Regards and safe travels; even better racing.

Jim
