Here to Start.
First and most importantly - The Daly Boys. We could not run the event without them. (mainly because they bring the radio)
in addition to everything else.
Second - all of our volunteers:
Start - Paul - who has started every car we have ever run at the Maine Event for 4 years and gets the number right after 9 hours in the sun.
Marvin - who organized pre-stage and did a great job. So yo uall know, Marvin is actually one of our sponsors, but we worked the snot out if him anyway.
Timing - Frank John and George Hartford who picked up on timing so well that I actually left them to run thing for the first time ever. i believe the entire weekend
had one bad time from a hornet tripping an eye and one missed time.
Chuck Lyons, Todd Richards, and Judy Hartford for assisting with the run logs.
Tech - Joe, Steve, and Frank as our tech directors have organized their teams so well that I don't even know who they are. Thanks to all of you. Tech ran the
smoothest ever. (if you don't believe me, go to Eva Hakkenson's webite
www.evahakansson.se)
Track - Scott, Todd, Doug and Teresa for taking the short course away from race control and doing a great job of it on their own. they really sped things up.
Stewards - Jack Wagman at long shutdown all weekend in the sun and "the mid course couple" whos name escapes me because I kept calling them "the mid
course couple."
Timing Slips - The crew that kept it all orderly with hundreds of slips and records to certify. (sorry about the names)
Rescue - the Limestone Fire Department for keeping us all safe and running short shutdown to free up a body.
This is the crew that has brought the Maine Event to what is likely an LSR all time low run to complaint ratio.
