I am very disappointed in World of Speed not having any photos or racing results on their web site or anywhere else, why is it that SCTA Speed Week does it so quickly and this race after 9 days still does not have any results for those at home who want to know how their friends are doing at your race, thanks Dave. :-(
If you want to know how your friends are doing at WOS you probably should just call them.
USFRA put on an amazing event as they always do to the point it feels like a family gathering of rev-heads. If you've never been, you're really missing out!

Well Kids I'm sure they will get the run logs up soon, be patient... I know they are working on it.
I'm sure they would gladly welcome volunteers willing to take pictures and post updates.  Maybe next year Slim can get it streaming live...
We love the event and the racer focus of the USFRA.  Their club runs get new folks involved with the sport.   :clap  :clap

USFRA / World of Speed, i cannot not say enough about the meet.  I had contact with just about everyone/every function from start to finish literally.  Monte checked/rechecked my safety harness/gear before sending the car and safety rolled up before i came to a stop to check on me.  The tech/registration people were great to work with selling my pre-registration and getting all the paperwork sorted out.  The blue painted lines and cones for the turn outs were great!  Straight turn outs 20ish degrees off to the side were easy to find and easy to see.  This was my 4th or 5th WOS meet and they just keep getting better.  I don't think i heard of anyone having issues and if they did, i can only guess they were sorted out quickly.
If anyone is thinking about getting into landspeed racing, WOS is the meet to attend.  Low key vibe, friendly people, 130/150/36 hp club to get your feet wet as well as short wait times in line.

It has been a very busy time for all of us since we arrived home from World of Speed. The gal that takes care of our website has been ill and not able to get the information formatted and posted. The results will be online soon.
We were very short on personnel this year and it has caused some issues. We apologize for the delays and will remedy them as soon as possible

Monte, the 2021 runs are now posted but I see that my run on the 11th is missing. Can someone add it to the list?

We had a great time at WoS and forward a big Thank You to everyone involved in making it happen.

I understand that staffing has been short and record keeping may not be complete, but I sure hope I get credit for the 250 MPS-PF record that I set and backed up on 9/10 and 9/11, and then bumped up again on 9/12.

And I too, would like to thank all the volunteers and staff at USFRA for the fantastic job they did!

Tom, congrats on wringing almost 100 out of that 250.  It was good to meet you in Impound.
Give them time, it will all get there... but don't lose that paperwork

Does anyone know what engine the Disorderly Conduct C/air roadster runs. Maybe a picture of the car #647. Pretty cool that someone finely got a red hat with a record of 211 mph. Congratulations

I forget what the engine was, but the driver already had a red hat, so it'll be up to somebody else to get the first one in C/AIR.

Disorderly Conduct uses a Chev engine with legal iron cylinder heads. As mentioned by Jeff the driver, Dominic Granata, earned his red hat in another class.

Rookie question if I may:

Is it possible to do licensing runs at WOS and do those endorsements transfer to other events like WF and SW?

I am trying to juggle options and timings; lakester build, possible emigration for family reasons, US road trip, possible early retirement cf emigration. 2022 might be busy in the Lemming household.

If I can get it built the US authorities only allow a one year importation so WOS through SW the following year might make sense i.e. store it Wendover locally or LA but that of course precludes fixes / improvements.
A Bonneville Lakester please barman.
Certainly sir; a lick of salt, a sip of gas and a twist of Lemming. More Lemming sir?
Just a squeeze.

A Squeeze of Lemming it is sir.
