In looking back on the SCTA's Facebook updates, it appears things weren't that great even before the Thursday night squall. They were talking about just three courses back in late July. At that time, they said it was still too early to groom the long course. Of course, the squall didn't help. It was an adventure every time we had to drive through the end of the staging lane area.
Even though we were plagued by turbocharger problems (lost a couple) I was still able to get a couple in and get my "B" license with one good pass at 191. That was definitely an adventure, too!
In looking at the results, it appears there will be no new red hats this year. Has that ever happened before (when the meet actually took place)?
