Got a pre-entry for sale. Was going to be close anyway then this morning found broken spring on push-tow vehicle. Changing not going well. PM if interested.

I'll take it!
Sorry you can't make it.
PM sent.
Thanks,
Ryan

Another PM sent with my phone number. Duh. Sorry.

You should take your foot off his head so he can hear you Ryan! At least you waited the obligatory 15 minutes before stepping on him. :-D
Just kidding of course and glad to hear you jumped on it and hopefully you will get it.
Sorry to hear you wont make it Ron, but can attest that your pre entry won't go to a better or more greatful father and son team to be on the salt.

Good talking with you Ron. See you sometime Monday. Again, I'm sorry you won't be able to race.
Thanks again,
Ryan

Todd,
I wanted to post quick so someone else didn't beat me to the punch. :-D
You are right about us being grateful. My dad is pumped to get back out to the salt. Not as pumped about the drive to get to the salt.
See you in a few days.

Good meeting you Ron. Sorry you aren't going to be able to race.
Thanks again for the entry.

Well, well -- the posts above refer to 2009s event, and this one is all about 2010. Keeping that in mind ----
Today is Thursday, July 15th, and this is THE DEADLINE for submitting pre-regiostrations for this year's World of Speed. The entry form and other paperork is available on the USFRA website (www.saltflats.com).
Get your pre-registrations in the mai9l today or pay the "late fee".
-
BUT, we'll take your money just as soon as you pass the tech inspection no matter when you arrive. 8-) :|

Durn it, I need to sell one of the two pre-entries I bought WoS. It turns out that the Nitrous bike won't be ready (hmm - salt corroded the ends of too many wires. How the heck did that happen?).
Whatever -- one pre-entry for sale, list price (for entry purchased before the price went up (15 July, I think it was). Please be in touch. We'll have the laptop and email with us when we're on the road, so no excuses will be accepted.
-
I got this email so will share it with youse guys, along with a reminder that Nancy and I will be using only one of the two pre-entries that we paid for for World of Speed. Please contact us if you're in need of a pre-entry. I believe that I can sell it back to USFRA, but I also think that they pay back a discounted amount. I don't mind (too much) but would rather get more back. Ergo -- somebody buy it, please.
Okay -- to the email I got today:

I am giving the Saltines first shot at my pre entry for the WOS.
There you have it -- another WoS pre-entry for sale. Contact both of us?

My computer has been down for a week. If you still have the pre-entry, I'll take it.

Dang! WE're on the road -- didn't have the 'puter on this mid-afternoon. The Pre-Entry is still for sale. Send and email -- or call me. 906 361 6282.
Thanks -- Nancy and Jon
PS We'll still be at WoS and racing -- but with one bike, not two.

Slim ... counting on your usual reports and updates ... Joe

We're still westbound, now in mid-Iowa. I see Wes Potter's note that all is dandy on the salt -- and lots of comments from folks that are heading to Bonneville, too. That's all good. I've got my typing fingers limbered up to send as much as I can in the way of news as it happens, although I remind you that Nancy will be riding our production 1650 bike -- hoping to up her record from last WoS. And that little effort might just keep me from posting a few times during the event. I'll do what I can to keep you all in the loop, though.
We've still got that pre-entry to sell. I think that USFRA will "buy" it back from us, although there's a discount I'll have to pay -- but I know for sure that if you need an entry it's cheaper for you to buy ours than to pay the "at the gate" price. Be in touch if you're in need -- the number is still 906 361 6282.
See you in a couple of days, boys and girls.
