Thanks everybody.
As Ed is first to say, "We don't get much time in the sun, have to soak it up when we can".
It's all Ed Brace's. Conrad, Jerry, and I just help out at the track [Chuck was a welcome addition and big help this weekend]. Needless to say it was a happy ride home after the best ever 175+ [+14 on the prev best Maxton 161], finally got to where we felt he should have been all along with what he has. Couldn't have gotten this far without a LOT of help from a LOT of others, we thank you and hope you are sharing some of this sunlight.
Pete Keyser and crew were also very happy with the 430's 142 run, again finally getting into the range they thought they should be in after a lot of hard work.
Ed, Larry, and crew had gotten the 9555 back up into the 190's after a lot of hard work overcoming some recent setbacks by the time we left.
Was good to see Robbie and crew up from NC with the Dodge, hope their tuning upped the numbers, were prepping for another run when we left.
Wouldn't have been a full meet with out Bill and Kim driving the 548 up to run.......
Congratulations Joe and the 55 crew, a class organization.
Carter Loyd and crew were shaking the bugs out of a nice brand new roadster.
I was really impressed with the little Blue coupe with the independent suspension from Wareham MA. Nice rod from back in the day being run as it was built for.
John and his buddies seemed to be having a good time with the yellow Camaro along with doing volunteer work.
Maine Baron's drove enough real hot rod street drivers in to make me wonder if I wasn't back at a 60's drag meet.
No intentionals on the rest I know I missed, brain overload this weekend and getting tired now.
Hope to get out to play again and see you all at Sept Maxton, until then take care everybody,
Ed
