Bonneville Car 80% complete
«

This is a brand new vehicle that is approximately 80% complete. The hard work has already been done! Built to SCTA/BNI specifications, and has been pre-inspected by an official. Built around a f86 jet fuel tank with 137" wheel base and is 17' overall. Currently set up for a small block Ford with a 3-speed reverse locked out. 8" Ford rear end with 3.0 gear. Includes tri-pod work stands that raise the vehicle to waist height.
With a motor and safety equipment this car should be at Bonneville and El Mirage this year!

Since it's 8ball's first post -- I'll ask if any off you folks out there in Forum-land know who this fellow is. I get a bit wary of first-time posts that show up advertising a car - that's already being on eBay.
Would someone please fill me in?

Sometimes the last 20% is greater than the first 80%.

That's a nice looking jigger....I was curious when he said this...

Heck, we've been racing one for 25 years that's 80% done... it's a race car, there is always work to do.
