There are some pictures of the gas roadster that I have been rebuilding for the past 8 years on the picture post. it last ran at the salt in 1975. I had to remove the old roll bar and build a new cage form scrath to meet the current safety rules. I hope to have it running for aug. next year. I will post more pictures in the future as progress continues.

Great find, I'm certainly looking foward to more details/pics. Do you know any of the cars history? What engine/drivetrain are you using?

Outstanding work on the new cage- am currently helping update cage by a renowned hotrod and landracing record holding builder and you're at least on par with this knowledgeable builder's work!

Looks like it is time for an update. Are you going to be ready for SW, what class. The car looks good, it will look its best on the salt. Good Luck Vince

latest work that has been done to the roadster is to final assembl the body and put on the new front wheels.
Now I am refreshing a 327 chevy for a test engine so I can learn how to drive it.
The plan is to run at the Pershing co. meet on may 26 in Lovelock for shakedown runs.

If you show up on the 26th, you should find very short lines. Unless they have changed the dates.
