Correct there is no D/Air. I will say it might be tough. The SCTA feels there are more classes than needed now. Air is already not what was envisioned. I suggested a frame body height but it was shot down so the cars would look the part. I also wanted no Chrysler Hemi or wedge or Chevrolet V8s too. Not very friendly there either..

I have been away from the audio cast a bit today, did anyone hear if the 666 Costella - Hoogerhyde electric streamliner made a pass?

If they have already sent in the form to the SCTA then no worries. Needs in by early Sept.  A B class is good :-D

The C/AIR roadster class was invented to fill a need that was not needed.  They cried about how the Olds, Cad and early Hemis didn't have a class to run in.  Bullshitt.  They could run as a Gas Roadster in any displacement they fit in.  Maybe not get a record, but they could run.  But did that happen? -- No.  Believe it or not, not everyone who runs think they can get a record in their class.  D/AIR class for D-engined roadsters?  What about AA, B, E, F, G, H, I, J, K classes for guys with Bantams, Pierce-Arrows, Lincolns, etc.  Where does it end?

Want a record?  Get a motorcycle.  Read the Rule Book.  There are hundreds of Open Records available.

If they do so they should make it for single rocker shaft engines only. And make exceptions as thought fa9ir.

I'd like to see a 401 AMC class. Only reason I say that is because I know a guy that knows a guy that might have one

Like I said, get a motorcycle.

1983 85.5cc Morfidite modified -- no kickstand -- 83 to 90cc Polish 1953-1985 3-stroke with red seat and bent-up kickstand --- record, record, record!!!

(And, in the spirit of the SCTA, if yours has a green seat, I think there's a class for that.)

In response to present inquiries, it was announced today that they're instilling two new classes.  One for cars is the new category YC with displacement breaks from AA to N (K wasn't small enuf).  The N class allowed you to run along side the car as the .2 cu. in. category would not sustain a driver).  And another one for Bikes -- category YB with breaks from 12cc to 900 cu. in.  By the way, YC stands for Your Car, YB stands for Your Bike.

Good morning Ron and Slim. I must have missed it yesterday, but did the speeddemon run with an "E" motor?
