My dream for Speed Week is to run one vehicle at one record.  2003 crew of 5; 4 bikes; 7 classes; 6 qualifiers and came away with 3 records.  Totally insane level of work for first timers. Team agreed never again.

2004; 8 man crew; 3 bikes; 4 classes; qualified 6 days; came away with two records.  three new guys aren't speaking to any of first crew.  Deciding on this years attempt and praying for at most two bikes, but Donny want to run real fuel in something this year.

Also has his hemi supercharged truck running good, so who knows I just manage and do the paperwork.

Yup, just what I thought, too many mouths to feed and round up.
Ya gotta get the ones like Nalon and Gary.
 They don't eat much.
Experience comes over time. The keepers are the ones that want to go back.

I can't believe that a simple question on how to enter one bike in two classes has evolve into 35 posts and a seminar on the World according to Jack.

I spent all day outside, you guys are tip tapping on keyboards.

 Too much fun!

Imagine if I didn't have 3 dragsters running with grand sons , a project Opel GT, and a chopper for Class A at Bonneville.
You are going to love the chopper.
It's kind of a community project with suggestions from all over.
It ought to be a real whizz.

Years ago, we pitted in in "Dan's Domain", 5 records, 4 classes, with a car.  Of course as Joe knows, we are bike guys on the inside...
Dan, what are you doing up in the middle of the night?

Most cars guys are plain cloths bikers.
Neil T. is the best example of that.

Jack, are you trying to bring up the traction control issue? Love your posts!

You see, it even brought Kent out of his shell. He was so withdrawn.
He got over being shy, now we have to work on his communication/ PR skills, not to mention puter use.
And you thought racing was a big job.
