Howawouldya have records without going to Impound and running the next day?
Did they qualify and then run backup in one day for a bike?

Great opportunity to secure one of the two to three hundred open bike records.

They still have to go to impound but they are letting them do the backup runs the same day instead of waiting overnight.

Due to time they are allowing return runs the same day if you want

Where can I see what the new records are ?

SCTA web site but most likely will not post until next week.   I wish they had a live computer time feed on the web site because announcers don't say all times.

The posted results don't include records from yesterday, (Friday, August 11).  After lunch, there was the 123 (V4 roadster - Model A block w/DOHC 4-valve Volvo head!), 348 (Datsun 240Z F/MGT w/3 Weber DCO-50's, and more), and 881 (Coyote-powered S-10 D/BFMMPU?).   In the morning, Jim Hoogerhyde in his new electric streamliner (EVS-2, not the EVL-2 lakester from a couple years ago) , and perhaps the two other S-10's that also had records earlier in the week.  And several bikes, mornings and after lunch, too.  I was too busy on the car side of things to get any details on the bikes, but I do recall seeing that 50cc Solex in a bicycle rack on the back of a motorhome a couple times!
