Years ago when there was a beef shortage, when I
was waiting for an evening flight to SLC, I would call
the Hideaway and have the lady hold a steak for me.
2 hour flight, and hour and a half drive and when I
walked in the place she would say, "Hello, Seattle."
I didn't even have to order. She cooked it the way
I liked it and Wendover was "home " for a day
or two. Oh for those times again.
