SCTA Scholarships
«

Bonneville was very good to my 17 year old son Gus this year.
He was able to overcome several obstacles and set four records at Speedweek.
Then to top it off he was just notified that he is a recipient of a SCTA Scholarship.
A big thanks to SSS for nominating him and to the SCTA for supporting higher education.

Thanx to Mike Waters and Steve Batchelor, among others, who spearheaded this program.

Our FYIE RAC-ZING Team would also like to add our thanks to all those supporting the SCTA/BNI Mike Waters Memorial Scholarship Program
This is a great program to assist the education of our talented young people who are part of Land Speed Racing.
Granddaughter, Adalis, raced at Speedweek when she was in high school and continues racing at the ECTA Ohio Mile while attending Michigan State University. She has three current records ( two this year! ).
She received notification of Scholarship Award for this year! To say she was 'overjoyed' is an understatement! This is a cherished award.
Special thanks to Donna Timney for the ECTA sponsorship recommendation. This came during all of Donna's work in getting ready for the Sept ECTA event and she readily agreed to do the required paperwork. A real above and beyond effort that we appreciate.
