Help him, heck half the time I can't understand him!
But I do have to agree, you get more out of life and more help for yourself by helping others! Especially in LSR!!!
I think when choosing which bike to pilot you have to consider what your goal is first. If you want to run with the big dogs you better be running what the big dogs run! For me, I wanted to get in the ECTA 200 mph club so what did I do, bought a bike to start as the platform for what was already proven could be done! All it took was a little creativity on my build & in choosing which class to do it in! Heck, I haven't even gotten to the point of fighting for that last mph.... yet! To me that's a fun project. Success along the way & room to grow!
I like seeing the Vmax, the Vrod, the pushrods, the Harley's, the small CC's the 2-strokes and the side cars run as long as they don't think they're going to take on the Busa! The ones that see their project for what it is and what it can be are the ones that are truly happy & successful! But if you're running the Vrod or the Vmax and think you're going to outperform the busa without dumping 2, 3, 4 times the money into it then you're delusional! But hey, if you've got that kind of scratch, go for it!
btw, I don't consider it a threadjack, I prefer to think of it as evolution of the conversational thread!
(but I will apologize to Willie if he feels jacked!)

PS: to Willie, I know I keep saying it but I really do like to see your work & I'm really excited to see your bikes in person!
