Blue stripe:  Nope, it's bio-degradeable and disappears after weeks/months.

Blue (vs. black) stripe:  Yes, the black stripe is a thing of the past.  It was not bio-degradeable.

Blue stripe in the middle of the course?  I think so, and I also recollect that a center stripe predates no center stripe.

It was the same color as the blue raspberry flavoring that the sno-cone trailer was dispensing.  Turned my lips and tongue blue, but it "bio-degraded" pretty quickly, too.

So is the the use of a center line permanent. It really helps some vision limited cars. I'm asking any SCTA officials on here??

Bit surprised to see no mention of Arley Langlo going 410.635 mph.

OK, so slower than the class record, but still a notable achievement.  Probably the 20th person over 400mph (wheel driven, over a mile or kilometre, officially timed, etc., etc...).

One of my favs. Talked to him at El Mirage and he confirmed he is "sneaking up on it" I think if the Fergusons can run 400 B/fuel this car has some more speed in it. It just looks cool.

Speaking of really fast cars and "sneaking up on it", I really miss seeing Rob Freyvogel and his Carbaliner gradually pushing up his speed.

Has anyone heard how he is doing?

Thanks for doing that John and posting an update on Rob. That was a horrendous crash. I and many others kicked in a few $$ to help him and Sue after they got home. I'm sure they could still use some contributions so if anyone has a few spare spondulics, send them to Rob.

John, John, thanks for that. What a great guy you are for helping such a true racer as Rob is. I'll always believe he had the big speed (500) in him!

Thank you Neil, and everyone else that helped Rob out.

I did something different, well what else is new.  :-o  I sent a check to USFRA on Rob's behalf to thank all their members for the fantastic support they gave to Rob and his Family while at the Hospital in Salt Lake City.

What a great group of people the USFRA are.

I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Bit surprised to see no mention of Arley Langlo going 410.635 mph.

I was listening when he ran the 410.  I ran with a top fuel car for years and Langlo took a lot of Mother F**king over the years for oiling the track.  But he absolutely deserves the upmost respect for the way he has his car performing on the salt.  JC Sparks

Yeah ... but Arley was the driver not the tuner. Arley owned  the car, not the engines.
Different tuner now and a lot more power available.
