I still want to know what record breaking Corvette and how fast it went. We claim fastest stock bodied chevy. Very interested in seeing the vette.

Thanks for the replies, cannot make this weekend but I
will be there, eyes and ears open .
I think we will shuttle the old truck and go with
public transportation (my GMC pickup)

Nothing keeps you from running the GMC in a Corvette. A 302 fits nicely in D class.

A few years ago I tried to run a 256 GMC with a Howard head in E/FMR. No go. Had to run in XXO/FMR
I was told. Don't know about Mod Sport as they have no X or XX classes.

Or you can bring the old PU to WoS and run it in the 130 club.... Minimum safety equipment and changes, link to USFRA on home page of this site.
