Ray Therat is faster than an oncoming SLC rainstorm.
He did his assignment and with only 3 corrections to make in the material that I sent him............the post is online.
Thanks RAY THERAT.
http://www.target550.com/gallery/114_wheel_hub_lug_nuts_plumbing/index.htmlA lot is happening this coming week. The molds for the front wheel fairings are done and the first set of composite parts are done.
A change in the specifications of those parts required a modification to the first replacements. They will be reshaped to allow
more ground clearance. Jim will have them Tuesday. Then Frank Martinez will make a mold of the canopy so the windshields can be formed.
Frank is much closer than is Les Davenport and the possible problems with shipping and returning components from Canada will be eliminated.
I'll have the fotos of making the mold for the next post. Frank will make the windshield sections in his shop that is about 75 miles from Hume's.
This is a sketch of the possible shape of the windshield. It looks to me like it will be 3 pieces because there are reinforcement tubes inside the canopy
and the sketch lines match the position of the supports. The bottom of the machined slot is the level that allows the driver to see over the nose.
See all of you next time.
