I have the 2009 SCTA rule book.
I am a bit confused, so can someone help me.
I am collecting parts to build an Unblown Gas Lakester.
I have a vintage engine...a '59 302 GMC
So, I'm reading along and it says, and I paraphrase, "vintage vehicles must have a 50 inch wide rear end and a 44 inch wide front tread width..."
I have purchased a narrowed 9 inch Ford rear end.
My mind is frazzled.
Does a XO Lakester have to have a 50 inch wide rear end because it has a vintage engine?
The two paagraphs appear next to each othe in the rulebook...so it's confusing.
Does a vintage engine powered lakester have to have a 50 inch wide rear tread.
Please tell me "no."
